Specialty Cakes
Our Bakery Department makes many specialty cakes and keeps them in stock every day.
Our special humidity and temperature controlled refrigerated cake display keeps our
stock fresh and moist from day to day. Try our doberge cake;
an Acadiana favorite that is so decadent and rich and loaded with flavor. Not your
typical cake this version is six and sometimes eight layers of moist
cake finished with a creamy frosting that is poured over the top.

Of course the weeks leading up to Mardi Gras is the time for King Cakes! The smell of
cinnamon and butter fill our Bakery Department as we prepare fresh
King Cakes every day.
Our fillings include, Bavarian Cream, Strawberry-Cream Cheese, Blueberry-Cream Cheese,
Pecan Praline, Lemon and many more. King Cakes are available
for sale in Bakery Department or can be special ordered for pick-up.
Our cake specialists have won distinguished decorating and design awards for years now.
We have the machine to transfer any photo or company insignia into an edible image that
transferred directly onto your specialty cake. This is perfect for photos of that special
someone being celebrated, for photomontages of families or for that company logo.
